A few thoughts/comments about rules

As in real life, we need rules/regulations to ensure that we communicate and behave in a civilized manner. These rules are necessary, so that as many people as possible can enjoy chatting in #ARMENIAN without any negative experiences.

Not only do we want to ensure that visitors will have clean fun chat in our channel, but also discourage the idiots of the cyber world to be able to disrupt our friendly chatting in #ARMENIAN. Violators of our rules will be banned immediately! A chat channel is not meant to be a place for lunatics who think they need to irritate the users by any means possible - the channel exists for simply "chatting" with each other and have fun!

The Rules of the Undernet Channel #ARMENIAN

DISCLAIMER: The rules listed on these pages are not to be considered complete and final. The operator team of #ARMENIAN reserves the right to amend these rules as deemed necessary. In general: any actions in our channel dictate that certain unpleasant behavior will be brought to the user's/visitor’s attention. Should the unwanted behavior continue, a ban shall be imposed. In other words, the instructions of the operators of the channel are to be followed at all times under any circumstances.

If the below rules make sense to you, welcome to our channel!

• No Dos-Attacks, Floods, or similar actions 

• No sending of viruses, worms, Trojans, etc...

• No Pop-ups, Colors, ASCII-“art” 

• No channel notices 

• Only Armenian & English language are allowed in the channel

• No EVADING of bans 

• No insulting other users/visitors 

• No offensive nicknames or idents

• If any invitation occurs to other channels or their owns, a warning kick will be given to the inviting user. In worst cases, the user will be banned. 

• No excessive Copy/Paste in the main channel window 

• Issues related to politics are not forbidden, and no bans will be given to Armenian political nicknames.

• No excessive CAPS (caps are considered as shouting in IRC ) 

• NO quick repeating of the same word and/or phrase else that user will be kicked from the channel

• No BOTS by users, ONLY channel bots from operators will be allowed 

• No ON JOIN or ON PART messages (advertising, welcome greetings, etc..) 

• No script testing. #ARMENIAN is not an experimenting ground 

• No advertising 

• Respect other users’ right of privacy 

• Turkish fonts are allowed after long thinking, in order to encourage Armenian users joining from turkey, having in mind that they are very similar to English fonts
